The Oak Park Business Association has many on going projects. The following are just a few of the projects currently underway:
Oak Park Business Inventory - Each year staff performs a variety of task to update the business inventory of our district. The inventory is done so that staff is aware of what businesses are in our district as well as to evaluate empty lots, vacant buildings and new construction. We use the information to update our mailing list, provide investors and/or entrepreneurs who are interested in bringing their business to Oak Park, with information about vacant spaces and lots available, as well as many other tasks requiring this information. This project is done in the months of January and February.
Oak Park and Stockton Blvd Business Directory - The Oak Park Business Association and the Stockton Blvd Partnership collaborate each year to produce a combined directory with complete listings of all the businesses in both areas along with advertisement space for those businesses to purchase. The directory also consists of a map of both areas and letters from community leaders. There are 5000 copies printed and handout to businesses for employees and customers, UC Davis Medical Center at employee appreciation fairs, and at community events and meetings.
